National Administrator's Credential (N.A.C.) $439  Provided by specialists who have successfully worked in the industry in which they provide training.  The NICCM NAC Credential gives an administrator the same type of credibility that being accredited gives a center.  Furthermore, it is a proven fact that credentialed professionals can command higher salaries.

NAC Renewal $119  We have many options to help you renew your NICCM NAC or convert your current non-NICCM credential.  Meeting the requirements for renewing your NICCM NAC is a simple process and carries no additional fee.

Earn your New Mexico Director's Qualifications with our program.  Our training program is only 2 1/2 days of class rather than an entire semester!  The NICCM National Administrator's Credential (NAC) is now an accepted course to earn your qualifications as set by New Mexico Child Care Licensing.  Our program has been used by countless New Mexico participants as a key component in acquiring their New Mexico Director's Qualifications since our inception in 1994.  Our participants rate our program as "of the highest caliber" and "most user friendly" way of meeting their educational requirements.  Consider our program before going a different route to Earn or Renew your National Adminisrator's Credential and New Mexico Director's Qualifications.

New Mexico Child Care Licensing Rules: 8.16.2.23 PERSONNEL AND STAFFING REQUIREMENTS FOR CENTERS:

  1. STAFF QUALIFICATIONS AND TRAINING:
            (1) DIRECTOR QUALIFICATIONS:
                (a)           Unless exempted under Subparagraph (b) below, a child care center will have a director who is at least 21 years old and meets the requirements outlined in the table below.
 
 
The National Administrator Credential (NAC)* and Child Development/Early Childhood Education and

Two-years experience in an early childhood growth and development setting

    Child Growth, Development and Learning (one of the AA-level “common core courses”)**      
          

Usage in New Mexico and College Credit

NICCM is proud to continue our partnership with UAF to allow students who take the NAC course to earn Colllege Credit.  Once partcipants complete the NAC course, their completed UAF registration form will be submited to the University with their grade.  UAF will then Issue both a Certificate for 45 Vocational hours and a transcript for 2 College Credits. (A small fee to the college will apply.) The UAF-NICCM NAC Certificate is then submitted to the New Mexico Child Care Licensing Division along with any other required information.  As of 2019, all New Mexico Participants will be required to submit the UAF certificate for proof of completion of a National Administrator Credential (NAC) that has been administered through a college or University.

The National Administrator's Credential (NAC) is divided into 5 Sessions each containing 2 distinct units of study. Each session is approximately 4 hours long. Participants can  sign up for individual sessions or complete all 5 Sessions and the Test/Praxis to earn their  Director Credential. (45 contact hours/45 CEU's)

NICCM now offers 2 courses that meet requirements for Director Credential Requirements in Oklahoma.  The National Administrator's Credential (NAC) course offered by NICCM has been approved by the Oklahoma Registry as meeting the "Administration" requirement by the Oklahoma Department of Human Services Child Care Services Division in OAC 340 Appendix EE and 340:110-3-7-1(b)(1)(footnote 14).  In addition the CDA earned after completing the  NICCM's CDA Fast Track Course  also complies with the additional "Early Childhood Education" section of  director credential requirements by this same rule OAC 340 Appendix EE and 340:110-3-7-1(b)(1)(footnote 10) 

Both NICCM's National Administrator's Credential and NICCM's CDA Fast Track Couse can be completed through a live 3 day events or through the Web Based Distance Learning Program

Participants will receive the prestigious "National Administrator's Credential" (NAC) upon completion of the Conference, the Praxis and the Examination.

NICCM is the only National Director Credentialing organization to offer a Web Based Distance Learning Program.  Participants who are unable to attend a live conference can now receive the same quality training that participants at one of our live conferences receive.  Participants will be sent the 350-page conference book and an online login for the course.  Each participant has up to 6 months to complete the course once they are registered.

The NAC Course is divided into 5 Sessions each containing 2 distinct units of study. Each session is approximately 4 hours long. Participants can sign up for individual sessions or complete all 5 sessions and the Test/Praxis to earn their Director Credential. (45 contact hours/45 CEU's)

CDA Fast Track Course Information

(B)       has satisfactory work experience;

(C)      has a current bronze or higher level certificate per OAC 340 Appendix EE – Oklahoma Director’s Credential;

(D)      is not a director or master teacher at another program that operates concurrently at any given time; and

E)       has a good understanding of the requirements and program policies.

A.   The director/director designee shall be at least 21 years of age.

B.   The director/director designee shall have documentation of at least one of the following upon date of hire as director or director designee:

2. a national administrator credential and one year experience in teaching or care in a licensed early learning center, or comparable setting, plus 6 credit hours or 90 clock hours of training in child care, child development, early childhood, or management/administration, subject to approval by the department; or
