NICCM now offers 2 courses that meet requirements for Director Qualification in Louisiana. The National Administrator Credential (NAC) course offered by NICCM is approved by the Louisiana Department of Education Division of Licensing to comply with the director qualifications required by Bulletin 137 1709.3. The CDA earned after completing the NICCM's CDA Fast Track Course also complies with the director qualifications required by Bulletin 137 1709.4.

The NAC course offered by NICCM can be used to qualify as a child care center director in Louisiana as outlined in Bulletin 137 - Louisiana Early Learning Center Licensing Regulations.
NICCM's National Administrator Credential can be completed through a live 2 and a half day event or through the distance learning program on DVD .
National Institute of Child Care Management will be available to you by e-mail, or phone to answer your questions and guide you through the credential process. Participants will receive the prestigious "National Administrator Credential" (NAC) upon completion of the Conference, the Praxis and the Examination.
NICCM is the only Director Credentialing organization to offer a distance learning program on DVD. Participants who are unable to attend a live conference can now receive the same quality training that participants at one of our live conferences receive. The Distance learning program includes a video recording of the conference on DVD, 350 page manual and a final exam and praxis. Each participant has up to 6 months to complete the course once they are registered.
The NAC Course is divided into 5 Sessions each containing 2 distinct units of study. Each session is approximately 4 hours long. Participants can sign up for individual sessions or complete all 5 sessions and the Test/Praxis to earn their Director Credential. (45 contact hours/45 CEU's)

§1709. Director Qualifications
A. The director/director designee shall be at least 21 years of age.
B. The director/director designee shall have documentation of at least one of the following upon date of hire as director or director designee:
3. a national administrator credential and one year experience in a licensed early learning center, or comparable setting, plus 6 credit hours in child care, child development or early childhood or 90 clock hours of training in child care, child development or early childhood, subject to approval by the Licensing Division;
4. a child development associate credential (CDA) and one year of experience in a licensed early learning center, or comparable setting, subject to approval by the Licensing Division;
