NICCM now offers 2 courses that meet the requirements for Educational Credentials for Child Care Center Director Qualification. The National Administrative Credential (NAC) course offered by NICCM is approved by the Utah Child Care Licensing Program as a valid educational credential to comply with the director qualifications required by rule R381-100-7(1)(d). As well the CDA earned after completing the NICCM's CDA Fast Track Course also complies with the director qualifications required by rule R381-100-7(1)(c).

NAC Course Information
The NAC course offered by NICCM is approved by the Utah Child Care Licensing Program as a valid educational credential to comply with the director qualifications required by rule R381-100-7(1)(d).
NICCM's National Administrative Credential can be completed through a live 2 and a half day event or through the Web Based Distance Learning Program.
National Institute of Child Care Management will be available to you by e-mail, or phone to answer your questions and guide you through the credential process. Participants will receive the prestigious "National Administrative Credential" (NAC) upon completion of the Conference, the Praxis, and the Examination.
NICCM is the only National Director Credentialing organization to offer a Web Based Distance Learning Program. Participants who are unable to attend a live conference can now receive the same quality training that participants at one of our live conferences receive. Participants will be sent the 350-page conference book and an online login for the course. Each participant has up to 6 months to complete the course once they are registered.
The NAC Course is divided into 5 Sessions each containing 2 distinct units of study. Each session is approximately 4 hours long. Participants can sign up for individual sessions or complete all 5 sessions and the Test/Praxis to earn their Director Credential. (45 contact hours/45 CEU's)

CDA Fast Track Course Information

The Child Development Associate (CDA) is a nationally accepted early childhood credential awarded by the Council for Professional Recognition. The CDA Fast Track course helps participants understand and meet the requirements of the Child Development Associate (CDA).

Utah Child Care Licensing Rules:
R381-100-7. Personnel.
(1) The center must have a director who is at least 21 years of age, who has completed the Center Director Training class offered by the Department, and who has one of the following educational credentials:
(c) a currently valid national certification such as a Certified Childcare Professional (CCP) issued by the National Child Care Association, a Child Development Associate (CDA) issued by the Council for Early Childhood Professional Recognition, or other credential that the licensee demonstrates as equivalent to the Department; or
(d) a currently valid National Administrator Credential (NAC) as approved by the Department, plus one of the following:
(i) valid proof of successful completion of 12 semester credit hours of early childhood development courses from an accredited college; or
(ii) valid proof of completion of the following six Utah Early Childhood Career Ladder courses, or their equivalent, as approved by the Utah Child Care Professional Development Institute: Child Development Ages and Stages, Learning in the Early Years, A Great Place for Kids, Strong and Smart, Learning to Get Along, and Advanced Child Development.
